"He Did It For Them"

Pastor Albert Almore

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9‬:‭6

“And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬-‭9‬

“But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬

‬‬ “Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; HE IS THE MESSIAH, the Lord.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬ ‭

“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God AND MAN.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭52‬

““Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made THIS JESUS, whom you crucified, both LORD AND MESSIAH.””

‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭36‬

“When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?””

‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭37‬

‬‬ “Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭38‬ ‭‬‬

“The promise is for you AND YOUR CHILDREN and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.””

‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭39

“Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Listen to this message from the Lord of Heaven’s Armies:” Isaiah‬ ‭39:5‬ ‭‬‬

“‘The time is coming when everything in your palace—all the treasures stored up by your ancestors until now—will be carried off to Babylon. Nothing will be left,’ says the Lord.” Isaiah‬ ‭39:6‬ ‭‬‬

“‘SOME OF YOUR VERY OWN SONS will be taken away into exile. They will become eunuchs who will serve in the palace of Babylon’s king.’”” Isaiah‬ ‭39:7‬ ‭‬‬

“Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “This message you have given me from the Lord is good.” For the king was thinking, “AT LEAST THERE WILL BE PEACE AND SECURITY DURING MY LIFETIME.”” Isaiah‬ ‭39:8‬ ‭‬‬

A good man leaves an inheritance to his CHILDREN’S CHILDREN… Proverbs 13:22‬

If our time comes to LEAVE, what will we LEAVE BEHIND?

The greatest gift that you could ever give this generation, and the generations to come, is a clear pathway to Jesus Christ.

“Train up a child in the way he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭22‬:‭6‬

After all The promise is for you AND YOUR CHILDREN! He did it for US, and He did it for THEM.

“Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves AND FOR YOUR CHILDREN. Luke 23:28

For the time will come when you will say, ‘Blessed are the childless women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’ Luke 23:29

“When all that generation had been gathered to their fathers, another generation arose after them who did not know the Lord nor the work which He had done for Israel.”

‭‭Judges‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬

“But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬

‬‬ “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭‬‬

“Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭26‬-‭27‬

“And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭28‬-‭29‬ ‭

‬‬ “Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭30‬-‭31‬

‬‬ “He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.””

‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭32‬-‭33‬

“Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭34‬-‭35‬ ‭

“Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭36‬

‬‬ “For with God nothing will be impossible.””

‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭37‬

‬‬ “Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭38‬

“Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, OR SEEN IN ME—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭9‬ ‭

📝 Living the truth before them doesn’t mean we’ll live a life of PERFECTION before them, but rather a life of REPENTANCE.

“I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭7‬:‭15‬

I PRAYED FOR THIS CHILD, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.”

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭1‬:‭27‬ ‭

“The promise is for you AND YOUR CHILDREN…

‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭39

“This is THE GENERATION OF THEM that seek him, That seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭24‬:‭6‬

“‘May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.’”
