Desperate from just knowing Him, to be desperate for others to know Him too. After all, Romans 10:14 does say…

“But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless SOMEONE tells them?”

What if I told you this morning our sermon title for today….

Today’s Sermon Title:

YOU’RE JUST RIGHT!

📝 You’re just right to be CALLED by God, because you were CREATED by God, and EQUIPPED by God. 

📝 STOP TELLING THE CREATOR WHAT HE DIDN’T CREATE.

📝 When God made you, He didn’t make you with discounted goods. He made you with the good stuff. He made you with HIM. His BREATH. His IMAGE. His LIKENESS. 

Therefore since when God made you, He didn’t make you with discounted goods…

📝 Stop discounting WHO YOU ARE. 

“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?”

Psalms 8:3-4 NKJV

“For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And YOU HAVE CROWNED HIM WITH GLORY AND HONOR.”

Psalms 8:5 NKJV

📝 Stop discounting WHAT GOD CAN DO THROUGH YOU.

“…but the people who know their God SHALL BE STRONG, AND CARRY OUT GREAT EXPLOITS.”

Daniel 11:32 NKJV

What if I told you that one of the greatest exploits that you could ever carry out, is leading someone to Jesus?

“The next day the council of all the rulers and elders and teachers of religious law met in Jerusalem. Annas the high priest was there, along with Caiaphas, John, Alexander, and other relatives of the high priest.”

Acts of the Apostles 4:5-6 NLT

“They brought in the two disciples and demanded, “By what power, or in whose name, have you done this?””

Acts of the Apostles 4:7 NLT

“Then Peter, FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, said to them, “Rulers and elders of our people, are we being questioned today because we’ve done a good deed for a crippled man? Do you want to know how he was healed?”

“Let me clearly state to all of you and to all the people of Israel that he was healed by the powerful name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, the man you crucified but whom God raised from the dead.”

In this moment, Peter became that someone that God used to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

“For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, ‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’ THERE IS SALVATION IN NO ONE ELSE! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.””

“The members of the council were amazed when they saw THE BOLDNESS OF PETER AND JOHN…”

Remind you in Matthew 26:69-70…

“Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard. And a servant girl came to him, saying, “You also were with Jesus of Galilee.” But he denied it before them all, saying, “I do not know what you are saying.””

“And when he had gone out to the gateway, another girl saw him and said to those who were there, “This fellow also was with Jesus of Nazareth.” But again he denied with an oath, “I do not know the Man!””

“And a little later those who stood by came up and said to Peter, “Surely you also are one of them, for your speech betrays you.” Then HE BEGAN TO CURSE AND SWEAR, saying, “I DO NOT KNOW THE MAN!” Immediately a rooster crowed.”

WHERE DID THIS BOLDNESS COME FROM? Acts of the Apostles 4:8…

“Then Peter, FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, said to them…” Acts of the Apostles 4:8 NLT

“The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, FOR THEY COULD SEE THAT THEY WERE ORDINARY MEN WITH NO SPECIAL TRAINING IN THE SCRIPTURES. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus.”

Acts of the Apostles 4:13 NLT

FOR THEY COULD SEE THAT THEY WERE ORDINARY MEN WITH NO SPECIAL TRAINING IN THE SCRIPTURES…

WHAT’S YOUR EXCUSE?

“….but the people WHO KNOW THEIR GOD shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”

Daniel 11:32 NKJV

“….They also recognized them as men WHO HAD BEEN WITH JESUS.”

📝 • God wants to use you right WHERE you are.

📝 • God wants to use you exactly HOW you are.

📝 • God wants to use WHERE you’ve been. 

The pain, the trauma, the tears, were all the qualifications you need to be used by God. The pain, the trauma, the tears, were all the qualifications you need to be that someone who tells others about Him. 

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb AND BY THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

Revelation 12:11 NKJV

You’re living proof that there is a God. You’re living proof that his mercy endures forever. You’re living proof that His grace is enough!

📝 When they were all satisfied, Jesus said to his disciples, "Gather up THE BROKEN PIECES that are left over, SO THAT NOTHING IS WASTED."

John 6:12
